Privacy Policy

The short version

The extension collects no personal data. Nothing you do in it is transmitted to us — we couldn't sell your data if we wanted to, because we never have it.

What the extension does with data

• Search queries: when you view a Google search results page, the extension reads the search query locally, on your device, to check whether it names a Minecraft item. The query is never sent anywhere. If it doesn't match a Minecraft item, nothing happens.
• Shopping list & checklists: stored locally in your browser's extension storage on your device. Never transmitted.
• Recipe data and artwork: bundled inside the extension. The extension works offline and makes no network requests during normal use.

The one exception: Pro purchases

If you choose to buy the optional Pro upgrade, payment is handled by ExtensionPay with payment processing by Stripe. You enter your email address and payment details on their pages, under their privacy policies — the extension itself never sees your payment information. After a purchase, the extension contacts ExtensionPay only to check whether Pro is unlocked; that check includes no personal information from your browsing.

What we don't do

• No analytics, no tracking pixels, no telemetry
• No reading of your browsing history or any page other than Google search results
• No accounts, no profiles, no ads
• No selling or sharing of user data with anyone — there is no user data to sell

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the extension ever changes what data it handles, we'll update this page and the extension's Chrome Web Store disclosures before that version ships.
